101 Things You Should Know About Colour

This 2-day class will give you a solid basis in colour theory and practical techniques.  Colour is the driving force behind every good painting and in this class you will learn everything right from the basics of the colour wheel to colour mixing, creating greater depth through saturation tricks, and how to fix colours you have messed up without starting over.  You will also learn about colour pairings for the greatest impact, how to keep your colours exciting, how to select colours in the store  plus many other tips along the way.  If you have ever had trouble mixing that "perfect colour" then this class is for you. Suitable for 16+. Please bring your own painting supplies.

Chili Thom was born and raised in B.C. An avid skier, hiker and explorer Chili Thom uses linear brushstrokes in acrylics, unique perspectives and saturated colours to capture motion and the passage of time.
