
Introductory Adult Dance
Explore your body's creative movement and learn the fundamentals of jazz, hip hop, and contemporary dance through modern music. This introductory course is great for those who want to learn to dance, as well as those wanting to refresh their dance skills. Classes include cardio and stretches to improve flexibility, strength and posture, followed by choreography set to music. The class is taught in a fun and supportive environment. Suitable for ages 16+ years.
INSTRUCTOR BIO
For 15 years Stacey has been teaching Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap and Contemporary dance to students of all ages and ability levels in the lower mainland of B.C. and Alberta. Stacey is a dance company member at EDAM dance in Vancouver, specializing in Contact Improvisation and partnering choreography. She independently produces dance and music videos which can be viewed here. She has been living in Squamish for the past year and is excited to be teaching dance in the Sea-to-Sky.
