
Playing With Paint, Adult
Have you always wanted to try painting but were afraid you didn't have 'talent'? Surprise yourself and come play with paint! Through exploratory exercises using acrylic paint and some simple drawing tools you will discover your own creative wisdom. Working non-objectively an exciting, deeply personal expression will emerge while you learn how the materials work. Shape, line, value, colour, texture and rhythm are the basic elements used to compose a painting. Working in an intuitive way you will be guided through the creation of work that resonates with your unique style. There's no more excuses; let's play with paint! Suitable for 16+.
INSTRUCTOR BIO
Lisa Geddes is a mixed media painter living in Whistler. She is currently working with acrylic paint, and draws inspiration from the natural landscape. Her work is displayed at Art Junction in Function Junction. Learn more about Lisa here.
